Terrible, truly terrible! My HP PC had issues charging so I took it to the local Geek squad store where they helped me determine that there was an internal battery issue, but I had a warranty so they would send it out for repair at no charge. I lucked out because this was November 7th and my warranty expired on December 7th. Two weeks later I received my PC (not in the condition I dropped it off in but acceptable). I plugged it an what do you know, it's not charging! They replaced the keyboard and external charger, uh thanks I guess. I took it back to the same store where the Geek squad employee insisted it was the wrong charger. After 7 charger attempts, it was determined there was in internal issue and sent out as a "redo", where the process is supposedly expedited. Oddly enough, two weeks later (exactly 30 days) UPS states that they don't have my correct address.....Geek squad employee entered my info wrong! To sum it up and top it all off: --Geek squad doesn't know where my PC is and opened a "ticket" to find it, will let me know within 48 hours. --Geek squad only guarantees their repair for 30 days, WHAT A JOKE! --Geek squad will gladly extend the warranty for one more year.....for $189.00!!! I will continue to be a Best Buy customer however I am lease impressed with the Geed squad service OUTSIDE the store and warn others. There are plenty of talented PC experts that are local and more dependable that will gladly help me with my IT needs.

I just bought a fitbit and even though I could set it up and figure it out on my own, I decided to go over and have them help me. It also came with a free Geek Squad walkthrough from Burst Buy. I walked over, after the sales rep told us that we could go over there, and there was a group standing around. As soon as I walked up, it was like roaches when a light gets flicked on. They scattered. One woman asked me what I needed; I told her I just bought a fitbit and I'd like one of them to help me look it over. "Do you have an appointment?" After telling her, no, and asked if i need one even though i just walked 50 feet over here to set it up (not to mention give guys made themselves scarce) "We are an appointment based service..." she was kind of rude and didn't really wait for me to answer and walked to the back. I shrugged, walked away and decided I could figure this out on my own like I had originally planned to.

I called in because my keyboard on my laptop got wet and wasn't working right. I asked for an estimate for replacing the keyboard and they said it's 99$ to diagnose the problem... I repeated that I just wanted my keyboard replaced and they reiterated that they had to charge the diagnosis fee of 99$ plus parts and labor which would be around 235$-255$ when I can get a free estimate and have the work done by 3 other locations at a total cost of 145$ just because I didn't buy the laptop from you doesn't mean you get to charge me more you have lost! My business!! I would not recommend you to anyone looking for repairs I would send them elsewhere!!

Geek Squad is atrocious. Their unqualified staff are slow, rude, and lack any semblance of professionalism. The prices they charge for the services they offer are beyond ridiculous. You could look up what you need to do on YouTube, do it yourself, drop your computer out of a moving vehicle, take the scraps and shove them way up your ass and manage come out of it better than you would if you brought your computer to these crooks. You'd certainly spend less money that way, and your computer would get fixed.
