  My boyfriend took me here for a VERY special last day in NOLA dinner. Very hard to find as it isn't labeled on the exterior. Inside it is very difficult to walk around unless you are super slim because, while limited seating, every table is crammed with chairs and they are in close proximity. It was incredibly loud and as people drank got louder. Shocking for only 15 people in the room. The servers are knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. Guiding through wine selection, appetizers, and entrees. Delicious food. Fish quality was excellent. Lamb was tender. Herbs and vegetables were tender and fresh. Creative matchings for unique flavors. Dessert menu was rather lackadaisical in comparison. Not all wine selections are offered by the glass, bottle service was excellent.

  Hands down the best restraunt I have ever eaten with. Quiet side of town, very nice building and decor. The service was an 11 out of 10. Interesting, varied, and unique menu items. I had the monkfish dish and was blown away by the flavors.

  Absolutely fantastic meal. Perfect service. Had the special seared tuna with a goat cheese and beet salad. You can't go wrong here!

  Truly fantastic food and service. Not many places can maintain a high level of quality and sophistication. But Gautreau's can. A group of four of us each ordered different first and second courses. So we ate through a good bit of the menu. Each dish was fantastic, nicely presented with fantastic depth of flavor. You can tell each person involved in the process of preparing and serving this food pays attention to detail.

  My family took me here last night for my birthday. They were very busy and it took over an hour for us to get food. Wished the wait staff would have told us what was going on instead of ignoring us the whole time. I ordered a $50 steak that has obviously been sitting around for a while because it was barely warm. It also wasn't seasoned. No one's food was, we all had to add salt which we never do. Everyone's plates looked thrown together. I understand they were busy but we should have gotten a discount or something. My parents spent $600+ on a huge disappointment and we were there for over 3 hours. Will not be going back.
