::Amazing service, quality, fluent in English and a great owners!!! Took in a wedding dress cleaned somewhere else (to save money) and not cleaned well at all. I left It at Gateway and the owner got back to me in 2 days quoted me a price and date to be done. Went to pick it and was truly amazed how good and clean it looked.

::Patronized this establishment for about 8 years. In the past year their quality plummeted. After they destroyed a wool scarf by hanging a heavy tag from one corner with a giant safety pin, creating a bug hole, I spoke with the owner, Neil, who promised to reimburse me for a replacement. I followed instructions and he put a $65 credit on my "tab". Thereafter, his crew crushed three buttons on one of my husband's shirts and replaced them with cheap white plastic buttons and didn't confess to the deed (the buttons on the shirt were brownish tortoise-shell looking, not white), delivered a tuxedo shirt with smashed cuffs and dirt on the collar and starched everything despite my standing "no starch" order. I told the owner I really could not continue using his business and asked for a refund of the credit balance. That was a month ago. He has told me twice that he mailed a check to me - no check has ever been received. I would have given them a bad review for their terrible cleaning performance but now I have to add dishonesty to my complaint.

::We've been going to Gateway Cleaners for years and have NEVER had a bad experience. The clothing has always come back looking sharp and when buttons are broken or missing they are happy to sew on new ones. The place is always busy and by the amount of clothing on their racks, they have a large number of customers who undoubtedly feel they way I do.
