::Great little museum of the physical history of Long Island, also a nice walk to the beach that is easiest going down than back up again lol

::Great spot for a hike. You can see the tomb of the Garvie family and access the shoreline. It's a great place to watch the sunset.

::I love this place but unfortunately erosion has taken away 90% of the beach

::This museum houses a wealth of Long Island specific geological and archeological history. I found myself amazed by the display cases housing various sea creatures found around the island. The dioramas on the native history were well done and informative. When you're done in the museum, head outside and hike the many trails on the property, including a stop at the shore of the cove.

::The trail 👣 was fun. I had a great 👍 morning workout. Came here during a school trip. The museum displays are very informative. A comprehensive historical data of North America which includes Canada, Mexico, United States was shared with student. I'm very impressed with the historian because she did an excellent job of keeping all the students attentive.
