::Used Garlock-French for a tear-off and new shingle roof, and I would use them again. The install took longer than they had planned on, but they sacrificed their timeline to ensure the work was done properly. I suspect it caused them delays in other jobs. 5 stars to me means - I would use them again; they delivered expected or better quality; they listened and responded to my questions.

::Stated they would do my job in 3 weeks, I had to follow up as I didn't hear anything from them and after emailing, received a email stating it would not be done.

::We had a great experience with Garlock-French! Our home needed a new roof, windows and gutters due to hail damage. John Patrick, our salesman, was professional in approaching us to inspect our roof, responsive to our questions, and effectively communicated with our insurance company throughout the entire process. We were very happy with the quality of work and final outcome.

::The end product was great and I had a good experience with the two guys who installed the downspouts. However, the customer experience was otherwise quite frustrating. After a waiting a month to get the project scheduled, and calling several times to finalize a date, it was the day before they wanted to start the project that I was notified. The initial explanation for this was the ticket got lost while the sales rep was on vacation for two weeks, but said rep later acknowledge as "not hearing from the scheduler until just before they come out is normal especially with weather and the push to get everything done before winter sets in." I'm not sure why this is considered "normal" when other companies don't seem to have trouble scheduling around weather and can provide more than 24hr notice. Also frustrating was that I was told the downspouts would be primed and painted and the installers would color match the paint. This was not done beforehand, as indicated, further delaying the installation. A month without having any idea about scheduling and no returned phone calls is not good business. Judging from the other reviews it would appear to be a pattern. While the final product is ultimately what matters I was still left frustrated with the poor communication and what felt like a flippant disregard for my concerns. A simple acknowledgment of it and how they could improve would have made me a repeat customer.
