::PHENOMENAL! I could almost cry! That’s how excellent everything is. Has a very authentic feel. Our server Diego was fantastic. Even the busboy was great! We had the garlic chowder and crab cake to start...I have never had better. For lunch we had the sausage and broccoli dish as well as the bolognese. Never had better!!! They also start you with a basket of bread served with a whole roasted garlic and homemade pesto spread that is out of this world. The only downside is I live in Morris Plains. Well maybe this is a good thing because of the obvious. THANK YOU, GARLIC ROSE for a wonderful experience and a beautiful memory.

::The food was excellent, my girlfriend is a sucker for garlic and you could smell it as soon as you walk up to the building. I had the garlic chicken and the garlic chowder and both were amazing. The roasted garlic bulb they give you with the bread in place of butter is a great touch and really tasted wonderful. Our server was prompt and knowledgeable on the menu and even though we got there about 30 minutes early for a 7 pm reservation on Valentine's Day they seated us as soon as we got in even though we were willing to wait. Would live to and plan to go back again.

::Great food, nice ambience, great date night spot. Cranford has a really nice little dining and shopping section and Garlic Rose is a great excuse to check it out. We've been there several times and every meal has been fantastic. The staff is attentive and friendly. It's a small venue so it can be a little tight but not uncomfortably so. Definitely recommend.

::Recommended by a friend & so glad we went! The garlic chowder is incredible - a must try. Every app & entree we had was delicious; we're excited to go back again & again to try the entire menu! Lots of options from a basic soup or pasta dish to more adventurous & specially crafted recipes - it seems you can't go wrong no matter what you order, but I'll update this review if I find anything that's "just okay". Service was terrific. Staff is quick & attentive - always refilling your drink before you even have the chance to wave someone over, but they don't hover or make you feel rushed. Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly - true professionals. We will *definitely* be back!!
