::Worst. Bowling. Ever. Not worth a second of your time or a cent of your money. If you can actually find a ball with decent proportions not chipped to oblivion you can spend your $22 hour trying to roll the ball down the lane like rolling a rock down an uneven sidewalk, which you would probably have better results doing. I strongly encourage anybody who actually wants to have fun to go to Hartfield Lanes in Berkley. If you just want to get drunk and violently throw a ball down a dry floor, you should still find another alley cause this place really should not be in business. Even with a heavy ball, proper form, and hitting the pins in the prime spot, you can still bet your bottom dollar you aren't getting a strike anytime soon.

::Nice atmosphere. Good bowling spot. It was my first time in Detroit and the downtown core seemed oddly empty. Met a lot of friendly people. The pizza there was excellent.

::We visited the garden Bowl yesterday for a team meeting. there was quite a few of us about 100 and we took up about half of the place. We had ordered pizza and beer and pop and they were very quick to refill everything as it was needed. The staff was very friendly and understanding even though there was 100 of us arriving all at once and ordering drinks and food. Garden bowl is the oldest bowling alley in America!

::Was able to accommodate a bit group and by big group I mean over 100 of us for a work outing. I was also happy to see they could make gluten free pizza.

::The atmosphere looks great; there is a pizza joint and bar inside the bowling alley with bathrooms. You got to pay for parking either in the back or across the street. It's not very clean and not a place to take kids (at least not at night). People were burning hookah and the lanes are very small and hard to squeeze in. It took my friends and I two hours before we got a single lane. However, there was a DJ and disco balls with cool lighting. Also, one of the oldest Alley's in Michigan.
