It's a place for retail not for residential.. A horrible place to live. Management don't even care for residents. Retail manager don't even seem to bother about residents and their concerns. It's been three months I have been complaining about loud noise from below where they are fixing a retail space.. It's so hard that I can't even stay at home all day.. When I asked the manager about it, she said they have right to work on the retail space 8 AM - 5 PM. They lease the space for events sometimes. the music gets so loud sometimes.. their answer they have right to organize events until 8 PM Update: Response to Mr.Owner , I wish you are more proactive in responding to the complaints made at the office than the responding to the social media posts.. I might have complained more than 10 times in the office.. response was "refer to the signed leased copy.. we can do whatever we want to".. And I honestly think your commercial property manger doesn't even care about residential people.. Imagine living under under loud noise for few months.. When you are trying to fix something for few months, you need to make sure it's not disturbing residents everyday.. Thank God..I left the place..

Would absolutely not live here again. When I moved in, I was handed a packet and nothing else. Not shown where the apartment was, told the best place to unload, nothing. They charge for just about every maintenance request you have which is ridiculous for how expensive they are. There is construction all around the complex for both Gables West Ave and Gables River Oaks which will take more than 3 years to finish (assuming no new project spin up). There is no concession or rent credit for the noise. Management is dismissive of the construction issues. I wouldn’t say all Gables are terrible but I haven’t heard of a good one.

It's 6am and the ridiculously loud fire alarm has gone off THREE times this night. Words cannot describe how loud our fire alarm system is. It scares all the residents as it goes off while you're asleep and it's right in the bedroom, most likely right above your bed. You truly jump with your heart racing then have to be brave enough to uncover your ears a few times so you can maneuver and exit your apartment. Trust me it's so hard to move your hands which are covering your ears because it's so dang loud!!!! Fire truck has come twice this past night, these poor guys have way more important things to do and have to come here to turn it off for the building! First time tonight was around 1:30AM took approximately 25 mins to stop going. Second time was fairly quick. Third time around 6:00AM took approximately 15-20 mins. It's the worst sound. Management NEEDS absolutely NEEDS to do something about this. Explain what caused, replace them, and compensate the residents somehow! Make it right! None of them live here so they do not know how it feels, they do not understand how much it scares everyone and how loud it is for the longest time. It's painful. Do something!!! No one should fall asleep scared the alarm is going to brutally wake them up during the night! As you can tell this is not the first, not the second nor the third time this has happened... AND the worst part is that when and if a real fire ever happens, no resident is going to believe the alarm.
