::When I visited Fuji with my girlfriend I sat at dinner half of the time with my mouth agape staring into the distance honestly struggling to think of the last time that I had tasted sushi so good. Had it been a year? two? Have I ever had sushi this good? I honestly couldn't remember. For somebody who has had sushi over 100 times this couldn't be any worse than the 3rd or 4th best sushi place I've ever eaten. I ordered a Sapporo, a Philadelphia Roll, an eel roll, an order of edamame and I had a couple pieces of my girlfriends Cucumber Sushi. I dissected each of these rolls to try and figure out what was so fantastic about the sushi. Was it the fish? It was fresh for sure and the salmon nicely marbled, but the fish alone wasn't anything to write home about. The rice was very good, perfectly cooked, semi sweet, semi salty. The cream cheese was standard Philadelphia cream cheese. The seaweed, good, but not special seaweed. I repeated the process for the eel and cucumber roll and couldn't find a singular reason why this sushi was so damn good. It honestly is just perfectly executed sushi from the fish, to the rice, to the seaweed, to the tall cold Japanese beer it paired with. Please do yourself a favor and try this place. I try not to sensationalize in my reviews, however, I want everybody to know how fantastic of an experience this was. Only downside was service was a bit slow, and I spent more than I would have liked, but any downside that I could possibly find would fail to deter me from returning here.

::Super good food! Fast service and they pride themselves on the experience. I ordered a sake flight and the manager came to explain and describe the differences to be expected. Highly recommend this place!

::Got their smallest sushi boat and was perfect for three. Very delicious and filling! Love how much seating there is and the fresh vibes.

::Service was AMAZING! Great ambiance. Presentation of food was pretty nice, the only concern was on the desert. The whip cream was very deflated. The other minor issue keeping this review from having 5 stars was that the food was alot of times complicated to eat (flavors were good). For example, the smoked salmon pictured wasn't wrapped tight enough to keep together when lifting with chopsticks. The other example was the appetizer, calamari. It had lots of good flavor in the shoestrings and pepper surrounding the calamari but nothing to get the flavor to stick to the dish, it was a balancing act to get flavor onto each bite. I do have to reiterate that the staff was great, gave complimentary sushi to patrons at the sushi bar and were very attentive to your needs without rushing you through the meal. Thanks for an all around great experience Fuji! 👌
JUST FOR FOOD
::IT’S FUJI NOT FIJI! (bad joke... maybe) FRESH,CLEAN, AND FUN. The sushi is great , oh and you know how the chilly Massachusetts weather is you may want to try out a soup from here. The waitresses are great , so sweet and will advice you in the right direction if you are overwhelmed by all the options. Pocket friendly but feels like your living a uppity food life.
