They cancelled our trip 10days before departure. We had to last minite book with Balearia, causing us to tripple our travel cost. These guys are taking advantage of poor customer rights in the U.S. There was no bad weather, no “act of god”, nothing...they just decided to end service to Grand Bahamas. Why do you accept bookings to a ship, you are not planning to run????

Check in took 30 min, boat left 45 min late, first come seating, very limited on board amenities, bathrooms were horrible. Almost no A/C. Not a bad cruise though, took exactly 2 hrs as stated it would to Bimini. BUT BEWARE of weather as they will still sail in rough seas and it can get interesting on board. Also be prepared to wait over an hour to disembark back in Miami as the Customs department has an alleged beef with FRS and staffs a skeleton crew that checks you in on and a time. Have fun !

The ship is adequate and for the time you're actually traveling serves the purpose. It is however baffling how and why this cruise/ferry line would not head weather warnings and decide to sail with such terrible weather conditions. We were exposed to 95% of the passengers, including ourselves, becoming dreadfully sea sick during our passage. They didn't even offer Dramamine prior to sailing only after we arrived to Bimini.. not much use then. Some of the crew members were even laughing and very insensitive to the events. I much would have preferred been turned away than exposed to that nightmare. The anticipation of returning under some extreme conditions hovered over us the whole time on the island keeping us from fully enjoying our stay. The travel back was much smoother but the damage had been done. The weather did not pose a threat for small craft advisory and only showed rain. The company should have fore warned us and gave us the choice to cancel or reschedule. ABSURD!

Horrible. The "service" is anything but. Totally overpriced and completely understaffed. Crowd is like Carnival Cruise. You pay $286 round trip for two to Bimini. At every step of the way, you open your wallet more. Then you end by standing in a Customs line that'll make you pull your hair out.

Very uncomfortable seats. Not enough room for the legs. The crew very nice and it was on time every way!!!!
