::Great Reuben and other sandwiches, Jane the owner is a sweetheart.

::I love this place because it literally feels like walking into your parents/grandparents kitchen. Things are made-to-order with care and it helps to know that the ingredients are real! The food is delicious and while it's a small staff, the proprietor, Ms. Jane goes through great lengths to ensure each order is correct and you don't walk away unsatisfied! If you're ever in Silver Spring, you GOTTA stop by here for good eats!

::I scratch my head every time I read the negative reviews associated with Friends Deli. This Deli epitomizes freshness with their daily roasted turkey, homemade soups (even the rice is freshly-steamed for their soups), and on-site prepared tuna and chicken salad. The potato, vegetable, lentil, and tomato soups are delicious! If you are not a meat eater like me, you have more than enough great choices to select from. The staff is always friendly and professional. The Deli is always spotless. I also love that Friends offers some of my favorite, healthy options including avocado, spinach or sun-dried tomato wraps, and alfalfa sprouts. Their breakfast sandwiches rival those that have people standing in line for 45 min+ at Bethesda Bagels. The pricing is reasonable. Give Friends Deli a try!

::The food is good, however the service is not up to par. The asian lady who andwers the phone is always in a rush to take down your order. The asian man when you pick up food makes you uncomfortable like if you are about to steal from them and yells at his latino cookers. If I ask for extra ketchup or napkins the asians couple make it seem like I should be paying for it. Advice for them two is make your cuatomer feel more welcomed and don't rush on the phone.

::Service was horrendous. Could not understand what I was asking for and when I got back to my office I was missing the home fries that were included in the meal. How that was not included is beyond me as it was clearly stated on the menu and it was completely empty. I called to complain and was told the menu changed and some items don't include home fries. Ummm... it says it clear as day on your menu within the deli. Not on the web. He couldnt not understand me at all. Please find staff that can fully understand your customers.
