  We ordered 2 birthday cakes and we were extremely happy with the cakes. They were beautifully decorated and delicious. Everyone at the party raved about the flavors and how pretty they looked. The staff were very helpful when I ordered the cakes over the phone. I will definitely order cakes from French's again!

  My birthday was on Christmas Day and my wife makes sure to get me a custom cake every year. After paying $35 for a 7 inch cake (not big) they didn’t even get the flavors right. Since she went through all the trouble and was told that she had to bring her own cake toppings which she did, we all thought let’s just try to like it’s cake it can’t be that bad. Well it was that bad. Asked for chocolate icing, yellow cake and custard middle; had no chocolate- they cake seemed ok but there was little to no custard in spots. Thanks for ruining my birthday cake and family get together! Your overpriced cake that wasn’t put together correctly is in the trash can. No more business from us.

  Walked into this bakery yesterday looking for a dessert to take to a Christmas Party. I was immediately greeted and welcomed in. One of the ladies came up to us and started telling us about a special they had going on for their pinwheels! She was telling us about the different flavors and it was exactly what we needed! There was even laughter and joking during the conversation. After we finished paying for the pinwheel, she offered my 2 children a free cookie. That was so kind of her. What a great experience for us being the 1st time in this bakery. We will definitely tell others and come back for more baked good!

  This is another gem in Irvine I'd say. They have really tasty cookies and sweets from what I remember, although I'm vegan now and would love to know if they served any vegan sweets at all. I guess I will have to take another trip there soon and find out! I'll update my review then to be of more help. :)

  We went there for our wedding cake. They had a very large selection and we could customize exactly what we wanted on each cake. They will make tiered wedding cakes as well as kitchen cakes with different cakes, fillings, and icings. They can do fancy icing decorations or plain cakes. They are very particular with how they set up wedding cake deliveries, but definitely call a week in advance to make sure that your cakes are on their list and that everything will be delivered to the right place at the right time. They had the best value and the cakes were delicious!
