::One of the best museum in DC. A wisely selected collection of historical Asian art works and special exhibitions.

::Great little museum... The Freer connects to the Sackler Museum via a hallway for a seamless transition. The Freer is way less crowded and much quieter than the larger Smithsonians. On display are objects (glass, pottery, decorative items) from Asia and the Middle East. They even had a temporary exhibit on Cats in Ancient Egypt! Don't miss the Peacock Room, which was designed by Whistler and faithfully reassembled in an intimate gallery at the Freer.
