  Fred Meyer jewelers sales people are LIARS. Time and time, again, they tell customers warranty is transferable WHEN IT IS NOT TRANSFERABLE. They continue to scam people out of their money and not.provide ANY services as promised in their "protection plans.". They find ANY REASON to deny doing ANY WORK other than cleanings. At time of sale the rep makes all kinds of promises & assures that any/everything is taken care of, but, what they don't tell you is what stipulations required to take advantage of plan & not until attempting to use it, does the customer become aware of the rules applicable for FM to stand behind it. Don't let ANYONE tell you it's transferable because clearly states IT IS NOT & FM claims that is the "norm" in the jewelry business when Kay Jewelers is transferable, as well as MANY of their competitors. LOVE KROGER GROCERY STORES, ETC. BUT DESPISE FM JEWELERS WITH A PASSION & WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM JEWELERS, EVER! And, have been FM customer for 20+ years and have a credit card with them.

  Don't get me wrong I like Fred Meyer jewelry, went to a few of them all the time, I know they have a good location at the nall were a lot of ppl can walk through the so they don't care of what kind of customer service they can provide to u. Brought them a white sapphire ring to clean (for the first time at this location) she brought it back with in 4-5 mins with a Diamond detector telling that it's not a Dimond ring that's why it doesn't look to clean do to imperfections in the ring, u can see with your naked eye dry wet spots on the rock, other Fred Meyers jeweles did a better cleaning and didn't gave there comments that I already know don't have to point it out and tell me Diamond wouldn't do that. JUST Go to a different store that is not at the mall, they do much better cleaning and I didn't see the wet spots or imperfections like she said and the White Sapphire ring Sparkle like a diamond.

  Terrible customer service. They changed pick up twice on us and misquoted us. Tried to tell us our ring was picked up by someone else although we had the receipt and ticket in hand. Associates were very rude and completely terrible with listening and communicating with each other. Go to kassab's if you need a place in the mall, not here.

  I had very unpleasant experience with Terry, who's one of the sales at Clarkamas Town center. My ring had obvious problem but he kept saying it's fine and wanted me to leave. After my husband said something on the phone he made a quote and jewelry specialist could check. You know what my one of diamonds had problem so they had to replace it. Terry made me very unpleasant customers. I don't want to come that store again and I will absolutely make official complaint!
