::What's to be said? Memorials are great at any time and ought to be visited at different times throughout the year. This memorial, like most memorials, tells you a lot about the extraordinary events going on at the time. In this case, during FDR's presidency.
Chris Flanigan
::This is one of my favorite memorials. The thought that went into the design was spectacular. The water features integrated into the design are beautiful and prominent. Each section having a theme is a great idea, and does a great job of conveying the "big picture" of that particular term. Visit this site, you won't regret it!

::Well worth the visit, dog friendly. A lot more to see than I expected. Some great quotes engraved on the walls, to make you reflect about life. I loved it, it gave me the "I love my America" chills. Check it out, you won't regret it. There are also beautiful cherry blossom trees to make the walk through even more magical.

::I’m currently living in DC and have been to the mall lots of times with visiting family members. I went on a long walk around the tidal basin to see the memorials I haven’t seen and the cherry blossoms. The FDR memorial was extensive and well done. Seemed to key into different moments in his presidency and provide a glimpse into that time. There are waterfalls, rock piles, statues and quotes. Loved this memorial

::This memorial has many inspirational quotes I wish our president would take the time to read them and think about them. The monument has four different sections each one is dedicated to a term in office. It is a nice area to walk through during the Cherry Blossom Festival.
