  Not much wrong with Oakland City Hall. Nice building and it's easy for the public to navigate. Also, there is public wifi.

  I can sum my visit up in one word - DARK. I went to an improv theatre in the plaza on a Saturday night, and NONE of the 20-30 odd lamps were lit. This must be the normal state as the credit union had installed several bright lights on its facade, and yet there are at least 10 lamp posts within 25' of it. Maybe two words would have been better, DARK and UNPLEASANT.

  A place where you can grab a nice meal while enjoying the beautiful Oakland, California weather. After taking care of your business at City hall, the State or Federal buildings. Plenty of wide open space to sit on the lawn to people watch.
