  My 92 year old relative suffered a stroke over a year ago, but the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America will not stop sending him mail. This is one of those "charities" that reward generous donors by buying and selling their information. I would recommend that people avoid this "charity" at all costs and instead donate to a legitimate organization that won;t purchase their mailing info.

  A peaceful place to stroll through and say a prayer if you wish. Steve at the information desk was very thoughtful and helpful

  This monastery is like a hidden jewel on the middle of the city. Lovely gardens with many replicas of holy places. The church is also beautiful and the underground spaces are fascinating.

  As a regular visitor and attendee I appreciate the serenity and tranquility, ambience and surroundings which lend themselves to optimal reflection. The gardens throughout the year are well maintained and very enjoyable. Visit once and you'll be sure to return.
