  Graymoor, the Friars, Sisters and staff have always been kind, loving and welcoming. The Holy Mountain is a beautiful and special place. I've experienced great joy and fellowship in many ways over the years, including a New Year's retreat. There is a treasure of books at the Shop, a wealth of knowledge amongst the Priests and true examples of Christ's inclusive love.

  I have been going to this place up on the mountains,for the past 20years or more.Very peaceful which gives you time to recollect oneself and self image. Very relaxing and comforting,but when it comes to to Religious side,it is a different side of the coin which is dark and nasty.The Nuns are old and some of them are mean,even to the not so young ones,so is the same for the Priests, they sort of choose their kind of whom they wnt to be nice to. The thrift shop is a blessing to go to,but, the present workers who are there on full scale schedule,are obnoxious and moody,I'd say,,'Hormones are out of shape. One would think that over the years I have been donating stuff there for them to raise money.they would be nice with a little exception,once in awhile,but,think again. as much to say..'Who cares,big deal. There was a Franciscan brother who was in charge of this shop,but was sent away,he was very considerate,kind and helpful to all people.at least, for what i knew.Now.'put this way. 'Dog eats dog'..This sort of attitude. Just a few years ago.I had applied for a job in another area of the grounds.. To work in the dinning serving area. I filled out my application and hand it in to the one of the receptionist and left,hoping that i would get an answer,but, a little bird told me. Your application was dumped in the garbage,, Till now, I have had no response,which led me to believe what the little told me.. I lost interest in the place,stopped shopping and going there. very sad.i must say.;I don't find it in anyway,that this is Christian charity which is given freely and openly. The staff is a complete pile of dirt and rat pellets to others who still live a good christian life and happy. However, my spirits are not broken. They ought to shape up.And should practice what they sow and to reap.and to be very growthful and to love more Thy neighbour.
