::Drove in to the store rather than order online to purchase a graduation gift, so that I could hold the pen I was interested in. I had a particular pen in mind but was open to suggestions. They showed me the pen I asked about and another pen that had something in common with it. I was able to try each one by 'dipping' it, which is certainly not the same thing as a cartridge or inkwell, but was better than not trying it at all. I hesitated a bit, and would have liked some additional options, but the sales guy repeated that this brand (Sailor) was known for their nibs and said it was a very good pen. I bought the pen with the understanding that I could return it beyond the 30 days, since the gift would not be given until mid-May. I said three times it was a graduation gift, but nobody even mentioned gift wrapping. I should have asked but it was not an inexpensive purchase, and they should have offered. Instead, I felt a little bit rushed to complete the purchase and get out of the store. Not a bad experience, just a little weird, as some other people have said. Maybe they really just want to deal with people who know their fountain-pen stuff.

::Mixed felings. Great selection of great quality pens, but the service was weird. The assistance was only interrested in me after i declared that I wanted to buy the pen I tried.

::I wish I could review the service I was provided when I entered the store. I was looking to buy my first Montblanc, and entered the store with the intention of purchasing a cruise. I walk in and am the only customer in the store. 4 employees see me and proceed to disregard or ignore me. Then another customer walks in, greeted and helped right away. I walk back over to the desk area and begin waiting for someone to help me. Then another customer walks in and gets immediate assistance. At one point the gentleman who is helping the last person to walk in, asks if I am being helped. I replied “not yet.” This did nothing for the two other employees that continued to ignore my presence as a customer. They might be knowledgeable, might have some good pens or prices...I’ll never know because I will not be spending my money in there ever.

::Really knowledgeable staff and pens at every price point. Don't let the name fool you, they also carry ball point pens and quality pencils. The staff are more than willing to let you browse and aren't super pushy, which is great in a store like this. Highly recommend.

::Love this shop. I collect fountain pens and have received a few of their pens as gifts in the mail (great gift presentation by the way). I finally decided to visit in person and I wasn't disappointed at their collections. I went in looking for a "cracked ice" type of design. The staff was helpful in giving me breathing and thinking room when I wanted to just wander about and look at the pens, then became quite helpful when I needed to see a few selections.
