::I don't know if your department handles the area by Grapevine but today we were driving thru on 121 once reached the area where 114/121 merged together 121 was totally closed. No reason! Just closed. No signs to warn us. No alternate routes. Of course, the locals were getting off at William Tate and 26 to go south. As I looked on my map app, those could have been used. But with no warning we weren't given those choices. With all the construction TxDot is doing it would be appreciated and more considerate of your department to at least think of what confusion you're causing on weekend travelers. And the worse, over by the Grapevine Mills Mall you had lane closures and absolutely no work being done! 😡How is that effective for anyone? We aren't on the roads as often as most so I can only feel the pain for the daily commuters. Whoever the civil engineer in charge of lane closures when no work is being done should be fired! I can only imagine the lost revenue for truck drivers and others when stranded in traffic such as we experienced today. And now that we've made it to 35W, the traffic going North has been stopped for 5 miles. It's ridiculous. A Frustrated driver Marty Crimmins
