::Disgusting, unmaintained, the payment machine doesn't take credit cards half the time and they will make you go get cash even though it doesn't state cash only when you get there, and they close early half of the time and lock people's cars inside. Absolutely awful place, I'd give it 0 stars of I could. The owner doesn't care about the customers even a little. Pay the extra $5 and park in one of the nice structures in Larned.

::I absolutely love the convenience of parking at the structure

::This parking lot is falling apart. I fear that part of the structure is going to collapse when I park here once a year for Autoshow.

::With all of these complaints why hasn't the city of Detroit shut this place down? Or heavily fined it? The police seem to know about the fraud going on here. If you say you close at 11pm, then close at 5pm and charge people two days of parking..... isn't that fraud??? Isn't this a civil code violation that the city prosecutor can go after??? Evidently not..... Park at the Atwater, they're open 24hrs....

::Do not use this parking garage! This is the worst parking garage on earth. We checked in on Saturday, July 17, the big 4 foot signs said "Garage Closed at 11:00pm." The place was sketchy looking, but hey, it's downtown Detroit! When we returned at 9:45 pm all the doors were shut and locked. Homeless people were closing in on us, trying to sell us things. We flagged a police officer, who said this had happened before in this garage, and had happened tonight to several other families. He had no idea why. He had his boss call the manager. But all they got was voicemail. We had to get a Lyft back out to Lavonia (cost $30) and then get my son to drive us back downtown to retrieve the car on Sunday. upon our return and we saw that some small typing paper signs have been pasted up on the wall and on the door (where you can't see them from a vehicle. These tiny signs stated the garage would close at 5 o'clock on this particular Saturday.) Complaining to the parking attendant did no good. We were told we had to make a phone call to the office downtown on Monday during business hours. To add insult to injury, we were required to pay for two days the garage. Cost $20. As I'm pretty sure when I call downtown tomorrow I will get a person who does not give a damn, I plan to stop payment on the credit card charge. So I will have spent the equivalent of $60 in transportation and $100 in time and aggravation because these people are totally incompetent. Whatever Soviet-style city manager is in charge of this place should be fired. Do not use this parking garage!
