  Folio's staff provides personal and caring service to readers of all ages. They are a community minded bookstore with a strong sense of social justice. A warm & embracing place. A must stop on any Noe Valley excursion.

  This place is the nicest, friendliest, retail experience ever. It's my 8 year old son's home away from home. They're kind enough to let him go back behind the counter to special order books with the friendly staff. They make fantastic recommendations. They do lovely seasonal merchandizing and also incredible gift-wrapping. Store is clean, family-friendly and has so much more humanity and warmth than buying books from the robots that run Amazon. Spend an extra dollar to have a human experience in local Noe Valley retail gem.
