  Updated 8-23-17 - Believe it or not I actually got a new bill in the mail asking for all the money that had been returned to me a month prior.....unbelievable!! This company is run so poorly that if you actually give them your business I feel bad for you. Please do yourself a favor, read my review and find another company to work with....there are plenty of good HVAC companies on LI and Flynn-Aire is downright awful!!! Update- read below 1st. One of their managers actually called me about my google review today, apologized, and promised to return some money that I had paid for the service call that lead me to deal with their company in the 1st place. I added one more star based on the fact that the company bothered to at least try and rectify the situation. That being said I still have no plans to ever use them and would strongly recommend finding another company to work with. Run as fast as you can from this company!! Had a problem with the AC in my rental unit, guy should up, spent 10 minutes and told me I needed a new condenser and coil. It was an old unit so I decided to replace and asked for an estimate. About 4 weeks later, after calling their office at least 3 times I finally got a rediculous estimate of 4900. Literally one of the highest estimstes I received by hundreds of dollars. When they called me to ask what I thought of their estimate and I told them their estimate was insane and I would never go with them anyway based on how terrible they treated me even before I was a client, their rep took a nasty attitude with me and explained that he didn't need my business because they are so busy. Unreal how some companies treat potential customers.... I guess money grows on trees. Like I said run run run FAST!!! Away from their company. And I did end up replacing the unit for 3600.... far less than flynns rediculous quote!!

  If I could give these ripoff artists a minus I would. My wife paid $10K for a new air conditioning systems for our Splanch in East Northport. Found out within a week that a friend's brother in law paid $7.5K for the exact same installed system. System has shut down too many times to count over the last two years due to a poor installation The pan keeps cracking and the overflow switch shuts it down. Wife paid for a service contract and renewed it just before we sold the house to make sure the new owners were taken care of. She specifically asked if it was transferable and was told Yes. Now the new home owner has called me saying that the system overflowed and leaked through the ceiling and Flynn Air says the service contract isn't transferable to the new owner. NEVER HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR. POOR INSTALLATION AND NO SUPPORT TO FIX IT.

  What a joke! Booked an appointment 7 weeks ago - never shows, blames us, more interested in being right and actually helping a NEW customer. What a joke! Will NEVER become a customer.

  Bit the bullet and decided to put in CAC in Oct 2016. We must have priced out half a dozen places and Flynn-Aire, while not the least expensive, gave us the most bang for our buck in terms of unit size and efficiency for the price. The rep who visited our home was very accommodating and took the time to help us understand the sizable investment we were making. Installation couldn't have gone smoother and the guys were professional, quick and very clean. Happy to support a local company and very happy with the work. Would highly recommend!
