  Food? Excellent. The best Chicken Fried Steak Ever! Service? Prompt, courteous, and friendly. Location/Ambiance? Excellent view of Lake Spenard planes. DOGS IN RESTAURANT???? THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE NO GO FOR ME! Why would you allow any NON-SERVICE dogs into ANY eating establishment? "Hey waiter...is this Canine Fur in my country gravy?" A little to country for me.

  Great Breakfast! Food was excellent, service was solid, and prices were reasonable by Alaska standards.

  Service was quick and enjoyed my scramble and coffee. Although cloudy and rainy, I enjoyed the nice view of Lake Hood/Spenard. They have a side coffee shop where you can order your favorite latte or specialty coffee as well.

  Nicely styled restaurant inside the Lakefront Hotel. The menu was kind of basic though, and there are those Dennys style tables- much too simple for a place sitting on the water with a great view. Service was excellent though. Ana P. was our server and tended to us as if we were the only ones there. I had the Prime Rib and one of Alaska's many fine beers! Thank you Ana!

  The restaurant has some great views of the lakes surrounding the hotel and staff is very friendly and helpful with the menu. For this visit we have one of their traditional Alaskan breakfasts, featuring reindeer meats and pancakes and it did not disappointed. You definitely will want to seat by the window as the views to my opinion enhance your breakfast experience. If you’re getting of the plane this is a great place to grab some breakfast since it’s only about 5 minutes form the airport.
