  Excellent quality plants and fish. Knowledgeable sales help willing to assist even the most beginner hobbiest. I highly recommend shopping here.

  The fish were plentiful, but they keep the best looking for their own display. Most of the fresh water tanks had fish decay in them. Plus the staff was not as informed on how to properly keep fish as myself, that is a big negative.

  Great local shop, awesome selection of plants at decent prices. Owner is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Rest of staff are somewhat indifferent. Overall great LFS, clean, well stocked and probably the best shop in the area for fish and plants.

  Very good selection of freshwater fish and plants. The saltwater area could be better but everything is quite cheap. They have fish anywhere from neon tetras to Oscars. The facility has an amazing feel to it and its rarely clean but could be a bit better. Overall I love going here.

  I really really like this store. I've been coming here for over two decades, first with my mom as a kid, now as an adult with my own tank. The owner and his help are knowledgeable (if occasionally a little condescending), and they have a great selection of fish, plants, etc. Their advice is always spot on. All the stock I've ever purchased has been exactly what they should be, and with certain creatures, if they breed too much in your setup, Fish Town might be willing to accept tradeins for store credit. I've been able to pay for food, new tank additions, and some other goodies by trading in. I will say their prices are often a little more than you might expect online, but I am more than happy to support a local legend like this, especially with livestock when you can be sure you're getting top quality from Fish Town. 🐟🐠👌
