  Great big cookies. That is all. Actually that's not all - great little bakery - excellent looking cakes and squares - I can only review the panini and peanut butter cookies but they were delicious

  Cozy little place with some really good artisan breads, pastry and good coffee. But what sets it apart is the customer service.Quick, friendland proactive.

  For Washington, D.C., in this part of town, this cafe is awesome. Coffee and morning pastries on the "1 dollar sign" side and probably even better than the mermaid coffee place. ;) Service top notch too. Saving it as a favorite.

  This place is just what downtown DC needs. Their excellent customer service is refreshing, and you can always count on quick, friendly service. I like their yogurt and granola parfait, as well as their muffins when I'm looking for a morning treat.

  I usually bake my own cakes, but whenever I am short on time I order one from Firehook. The cakes are excellent, always decadent and moist. It's easy to order online and just set up a time to pick it up, and they have never messed up any of my orders. I've also tried some of their other cookies and pastries, which are also very good.
