  It was my first time at Filament and I’ll definitely go back. I loved the simple yet clean and relaxing decor and set up. I’ve been unhappy with my hair for a long time but Alexandra changed that in about an hour. I chose her because she’s Deva Curl certified which meant she is knowledgeable about curly hair. When I arrived the staff was pleasant, took my jacket and offered water or tea. We talked about what I was hoping to achieve with my hair, showed her a few pictures of styles I liked and she made it happen. The services are affordable and definitely worth it. Try Filament!

  This was ny first cut at Filament and all I can say is that Alexandra Lugo is a brilliant stylist. She listened to what I wanted, and when I showed her reference pictures of my dream style she patiently explained how those styles would translate with my curl pattern. She ended up giving me exactly what I wanted, customizing the features of 3 separate haircuts I was referencing to match my unique hair pattern. Simply brilliant! Her assistant gave me the best scalp massage to boot! I wouldn't say the haircut is super affordable but it is definitely not a bank breaker. It was worth every penny because nothing makes you feel as confident as a great haircut done by a professional who really listened to what you wanted! Will definitely be back.

  I finally decided to start my natural hair journal, but I've been nervous of cutting it off. Today I came to this place which is so peaceful and cute. Candace did my hair. She is so sweat and understanding, she knows what she's doing, you'll never regret coming here. The staff are very nice and professional. If you'll looking for a place to do your hair, this is it!

  Alexandra has been cutting my hair for almost 10 years now. I would never go anywhere else. People stop me on the street to ask who cuts my hair. She's a genius.
