I don't mean to be disrespectful at all, lets get that out the way. I do hold a great deal of gratitude and respect for anyone who puts on a uniform and dive into situations to protect and save lives. However, I have had a very bad experience with members of this Fire Department. Recently, I was ill(I thought I was going to die) at the time I didn't know what was wrong with me, out of desperation I rang the bell to the Station(I was walking outside, happen to be right by the Station), 1 guy came out looked at me ask me what was wrong I told him. He said hold on, then shut the door and him and his comrades watched me from the other side as I crumbled in pain. "I remember their eyes as they looked at me, could they not see the pain I was in? why wouldn't any of them try to help me?" About 10 mins pass I thought the EMT would come do something but he stood in the back of them just watched. Then I thought maybe the ambulance would show up. But to my surprise the Cops did, the Firefighter then proceed to tell the Cops that I rang the bell**** "Wait so you mean the Cops came because I ran the bell to the Fire Station but no ambulance for the reason I rang the bell in the first place." Eventually the Cops radio an Ambo which eventually took me to the hospital. Oh, yeah I was handcuffed. I've never felt any less of human like I did that night. I wasn't hostile to anyone, I wasn't rude or mean or irrational; Sure I made a few moans here and there because of the pain I was in, but does that justify the way I was treated? Maybe they thought I was insane of something. Nonetheless...... I don't know I thought they would of helped me, really hope no one ever falls into my situation and receive the same treatment I did.
