  Got my hair done fast,the people are cheerful, caring, loving and fun to be with. I recommend it for every body who love good braids. This is the place.

  So, about a month ago, on a Friday afternoon, I went there to get marley twists installed in my hair. I had a photo & showed the photo to the owner & told her, I wanted my hair to look just like the photo. I wanted my marley twist to be full/jumbo sized so that when the hairstyle was complete, it had a full appearance. I like big hair on me, so this was incredibly important to me. The young lady who's the owner's daughter began braiding my hair. Fine. I was confident that my hair would come out looking great. So, I sat back, relaxed and began reading a book. Occasionally, I would glance in the mirror, & about 40 minutes into my hair getting braided I looked up & began to observe the back section which was already braided. I noticed that the hair they were using was yaki textured. For marley twists, the hair extensions that are used are kinky textured. I thought I should say something but I did not want to be a difficult client so I just thought that they're professionals, maybe the hairstyle might come out looking better than I imagine. So, I let them work their magic. 4 hours later, two braiders braiding my hair, all that I asked all throughout was that they made my hair full. I continued voicing this every hour. Finally, my hair was done. I looked up at the final result and was apprehensive because I did not really like it. They did not install marley twists but Senegalese twists. At this moment they were closing & rushing to close the shop, so I paid & left hesitantly. Once I got home & went to work the next day, I further examined my hair & was very upset. My hair looked nothing like I requested. Not only did they use the wrong hair, It's almost as if they used a small amount of extensions because the braids looked so thin and sparse. I went back to the shop as soon as I got off work. Once I told the owner, she became very erratic & began yelling at me. Basically stating that I should have said something about them using the wrong hair while I doing my hair & that I should have told her I did not like my hair before I left the shop. I told her that's besides the point, you the owner, directed the braider to use the yaki textured hair. I told her she should at least take ownership for that mistake. She refused & said it was my fault & that if I wanted to get the hairstyle I originally wanted, I'd have to pay full price. Once she saw how upset I was, she lowered it to half price but she continued with more stipulations. I'd have to purchase the hair, I'd have to come on a Wednesday morning, etc. Long story short, I never returned because I was so disgusted with her reaction to me..a dissatisfied paying customer. Other braiding shops, like MiMis, they give you 24 hours to return if you're dissatisfied with said hairstyle. I never plan on stepping foot back into that store, the way that owner yelled at me was unacceptable, and I was polite the whole time.
