Great stop on the garden district trolley. We had the house made chips and crawfish boil special. Delicious!

The first place open after Katrina, that was quite a feat. Used to be known for cheap good bar food, but they eliminated the cheap part, now it's just seriously overpriced bar food, even comes with a $1 upcharge for to go orders. Used to be good for sports watching, was once quite the locals' hangout. You can do better for drinks, a good time, and especially food, for the same money.

I just paid $18 for a chicken sandwich, to go. Whoever made the decision to add a $1 "to go fee" to every, to go order, is greedy and shameless. Have some respect for yourself. Hidden up charges like this are pathetic. I patronize this bar frequently, however, I may reconsider next time I want to watch sports and drink a beer based solely on how embarrassing an upcharge like this is. Also, just for comparison. You can get a cheeseburger with fries from La petite grocery (a James beard award winning restaurant) for the same prices. Haha, also look at this sandwich.

Great bar. They host trivia on Wednesday nights and it's never super crowded so it's possible to actually win some of the prizes and get free drinks. The staff is friendly and they have a kitchen that serves all sorts of great food. Mostly bar food, fried chicken, french fries, etc. It's right off Napoleon so it's easy to find and get to. Sometimes you have to park a little ways away but it's worth the walk and parking. Great little spot.

The food is really tasty, not healthy, but tasty. The crowd really depends on when you go. Friday nights are usually full of Tulane bros and ladies, but if you go earlier in the day it's a chill, local, older crowd. Also, the bartenders are nice.
