  Would rate zero, if I could. Went yesterday with my husband and two daughters to this place to get a violin for my older daughter. The woman in the store, not sure if she is the owner or not, was on a cellphone with her friend. You would think that the person who wants your business would say hi and ask if we need help. That was not a case here. In fact, when I looked at her she completely ignored me and continued to chat. Well, I learned a lot about her house size, back yard, and location and her family. When I looked again directly at her she said "excuse me, just give me another minute" and continued to chat. I have never experienced that kind of rudness, especially from a small store like this. Sure, after this kind of treatment, I did not have any desire to spent any of my money there. So, we left and went to another music store in Levittown. What a difference in treatment we got there. I got a very nice violin there. I just wonder if that rude woman's phone call was as important as it was expensive. Why bother to have a business, if you do not want have customers? Never in my life, I will go there again. And that sticker on the window "best place on LI"? LOL.

  I recently rented an instrument from Farmingdale Music Center and Frank was so awesome to work with. It makes me very, very happy to support a business that so obviously appreciates its customers. They go above and beyond. First rate! Dedicated customers are earned and they've definitely earned my dedication.

  2 of my 3 sons took music lessons here. My oldest took guitar, and my middle schooler took Cello to help supplement what he was doing at school. The teachers here are great, and the owners were very nice and were always extremely accommodating towards us regarding rescheduling of lessons. I also felt that while some of the things inside their store seemed a bit on the pricey side, their fee for lessons was pretty reasonable. Also Frank was able to fix some problems with my sons guitar for a good price, and he did an excellent job. He also fixed some issues we had with the borrowed school Cello. Awesome place, very friendly owners that are very involved in all aspects of the business.

  This is the only place I take my guitars to get setup. Frank knows his stuff! He and his wife are very friendly, and he usually has my instrument ready sooner than expected. A few times I dropped the ball and needed something done right away, and he was able to accommodate me. Highly recommend them. Haven't taken lessons there, but the facility is very nice.
