  My go to place for many household needs. Always have what I want. Seasonal sales are great. Clothing is good quality and priced right. I like the $5.00 off coupons they offer too.

  I came into the family dollar in yaphank next to the stop &shop a few days ago, I was having a terrible day and the last thing I wanted to do was trek through the store, when I arrived a nice young lady greeted me and made me feel welcome , the store was very clean and organized , when I couldn’t find the nail file I didn’t even have to go up and ask , the new manager I believe her name was kate, came up to me and asked if She could help me with anything. She assisted me and showed me right away here they were. She was such a kind woman. After such a hard day it was so refreshing to walk into a neat and clean store and be helped and treated so well. This encounter turned my day around. Employees like this are what keeps people like me coming back to the same store time and time again! I’m not sure if she realizes the impact her kindness had on me that day but it was so great fully appreciated!!!

  Came here yesterday looking for something specific. Tamika (who usually works at another store) was so helpful and went out of her way to hunt down what I needed. This made my experience definitely a 5 star. Great customer service Tamika!!!

  This location is definitely bigger and more organized than some of the other family dollars around, but they don’t accept EBT, which to me is weird that one location would but another 5 minutes away won’t. Long Island is struggling, everyone should be accepting EBT
