::I did visit the store on yesterday 12/20/2017, and the two ladies that were checking me out were having a conversation about what they are getting their kids for Christmas. That was not the issue, I wasn't greeted when I got to the counter, she didn't speak to me at all through out the whole transaction. She didn't tell me my total nor did she tell me to insert my chip when I was paying. I had to ask my total once I finished using my EBT like I was interrupting her conversation. When handing me the recite, she held it in her hand and continued talking to her co-worker like I wasn't there. I had my son with me, and asked her 3 times to place the recite in the bag. Not only did she not hear me because she continued to talk to her co-worker. She looked at me with annoyance once she did hear me. Stuffed the recite into the bag and continued on with her conversation. Didn't tell me bye, thank you for coming happy holidays just stuffed it in the bag and continued her conversation. Please do better. I know this store is on the north side, we are already boggled by stereo types because of this side of town. However, to prove them right with the horrible customer service and attitude during the holidays is unexceptionable. Then I call the store to speak to the store manager, and no one answers the phone. This again unexceptionable. I have been in customer service for almost 15 years, and never would I handle customers this way. Again this side of town does not have to be the stereo type unless it is allowed. I am very unhappy, at the level of unprofessional-ism and poor customer service at not only the cashier, but management at this point as well. Due to non communication, and obviously lack of training of their staff. I would like a call back about this matter I am also calling to corporate office. Which has a terrible hold time. Again please do better than this.
She Creates
::The older lady with the blonde dry wig needs to retire. Her attitude sucks . She was very nasty to me and other customers getting smart ,rolling her eyes , huffing and puffing, smacking her teeth . She's way to old to be acting like that family dollar didn't come to her for a job she came looking for one . She's very unprofessional and customer service isn't for her period .
