  Beware of a black lady with dreads who works at this location! She is the worst employee ever. I came by this location at 9:15am. The store was supposed to open at 9am. There was a black lady with dreads working in the store but there was a sign on the door that read, "be back in 20 mins". I was waiting in front of the store for almost 30 mins when she FINALLY came to the door. I had already called corporate, and was told there was no reason for the store to be closed. So when she came to the door I asked why was the store closed. She ignored me, and was talking ghetto and loud on an earpiece saying she "does not care who calls corporate, if im the only employee in the store and i have to use the bathroom what am i supposed to do". I walked in the store and called corporate once again for her rude customer service. My question is what kind of dunk was she taking for 30+ mins....very suspicious..

  Good location with free parking. The prices are more like a $5 store, but it's very conveniently located next to the Wine and Spirits shop. There is also access to a moderate to high-priced Acme on the top floor.

  I had expected this place to be a lot less expensive than it is. For a 'budget' or 'discount' chain, things are just barely lower in price than you would find at a normal grocery store or drugstore like CVS. They also have an extremely small selection of frozen foods; there is a Deal$ a block up the street with literally twenty times more food items at half the price. The good news is the staff seems to be pretty friendly and easygoing. On a whim I bought an air mattress here for $28, knowing in the back of my mind that is the wrong place to get something like that. Sure enough it deflated overnight, so I returned it and had no issues in doing so. When all is said and done, though, for selection and price there are plentiful options nearby that are better; including a SuperFresh directly above it.
