::One of the workers came out after me outside the store today (12/3/2022 at around 1:35pm) after I had paid for my 2 items calling me thief and that she had me on camera stealing sausages. I opened my bag just to show her she was wrong and there was stuff from another store, Mexican sausages, which they donβt even sell at this family dollar. All she said was βohβ, nothing more, no apologies or anything. Im a 17 year old girl that was shopping with her father. Never going back again. Horrible staff.

::the family dollar is a store that sells snacks, drinks, clothes, auto and home care products but being told that they dont have money at all and leaving empty handed every single time i come here to buy anything is something unexcusable. at least there are more than one store on castleton. theyre small but i get better service there.

::I went to the family dollar on Sept 23 like 12:20pm on my lunch break and the store was locked for over 44mins.. I asked the manager Tamara why is the door locked and she said with an attitude that she's not letting people until 5 people leave.. so I asked what's was the issue did anything like some kind of incident happen.. And she said no I just don't want a lot of people inside the store.. I said isn't this a business that operates to service the community.. she said well I'm the manager and this is what I choose to do.. so you can wait or just leave with a nasty attitude.. unbelievable.. this has been happening the last 3wweks I came to this store with this manager always nasty and never help it assist any customers..

::Had a very bad experience with a cashier named Donald. He was very rude and unprofessional. The manager had to tell him to calm down. We had a shopping cart full of items. Bigger items being in the bottom and smaller items being on the top. From the moment I get to the register he was already rude. Like he did not want to be at work that day. He wanted the bigger items first. And me and my daughter and mom said what do you want us to do with the smaller items. He was very disorganized too. He even charged us twice for two items and my daughter kept telling him that.but he was so above himself that he just ignored what my daughter was saying. I even tried to not be rude to him. By saying sorry Donald we all have rough days. Put your mask on. Because he had his mask hanging on his chin. And he tells the manager oh I donβt like when people antagonize me. And I wind having items missing that day. Plates and forks.
