  Extra Space Storage of Nanuet, NY has flexible hours and the space is always clean. The employees are friendly and super helpful!! Every time I needed assistance it was happily given. Chris has gone out of his way on more than one occasion to help make life easier for me!!

  A very fast, efficient, courteous facilty. They made it and easy choice. Both of the managers Chris and Joseph were great at getting me set up!

  I can only speak to the sign-up process so far; I haven't actually moved my stuff in yet. The staff are friendly and helpful (Chris is great) and the facility itself appears secure. The building's climate seems stable; I didn't notice any humidity inside the facility but I obviously won't know until I see how my stuff holds up after some time. Note that this facility requires insurance on the storage units. If you don't have your own homeowners insurance, you have to buy their policy, the cheapest of which covers up to $2000 and costs $11 per month on top of what you pay for the rent. Only potential issue I noticed; some of the smaller 5'x5' storage units don't have solid roofing, but rather some kind of chicken wire fencing. Theoretically, if one was to climb on top of the units, they could look down through the fencing and see what's inside your storage unit, though I think the cameras would deter that sort of thing.

  Good pricing, Joe was informative and overall experience was quick and easy. Facility looks clean. Review may change if the move in and rental experience affects negatively. Edit: lowered to a 4-star because of the lack of carts or administrative controls limiting cart use to customers. On my move one customer had taken all the carts for their use and I had to wait quite a bit to get to use one cart.
