We were here for 2 nights, when you enter an awful smell is in all over the hallways until you get to the room. We used to put a face mask while moving around out of the room. Also there are a lot of dead and some alive ants 🐜 in the room and one roach🪳 welcomed us as well! PLEASE PLEASE REMOVE THAT SMELL FROM THE HALLWAYS!!!!!!!! The good things is the location that you can walk to the park and downtown. And There is kitchen area which is good.

I was traveling for work and decided to bring my elderly mother with me on this trip to Austin. After initial questions with the room given to us, the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. Crystal, in particular, couldn't have been more professional and kind to my mother as she constantly checked on her to make sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed for a pleasant stay. Talia also went above and beyond to make sure we had a stellar experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for great people doing whatever they can to make their stay in Austin as good as it can be.

Arrived for a two night stay in a suite, unfortunately the day I arrived, the hotel had no hot water, but they did give me a discount for this for which I was very grateful. The suite was very basic, I don't think I've ever seen a hotel room without coffee making facilities but it was relatively clean and it was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. The grab and go breakfast was literally just oatmeal packets, so if you're allergic to oats - bad luck. I'd probably stay here again, the staff were friendly and the location is fantastic. Just know it is basic.

This was far and away the worst service experience I've had in over a decade.. I am genuinely not exaggerating. I am so exhausted by the extremely rude and combative front desk person this evening, that I literally cannot even explain it all. I left shaking I was so upset. First our room wasn't ready, which okay we'll come back in a couple hours and they held out bags. Second, I just wanted to pay for the first 4 nights on the company card and the last night on a personal card. Total of five nights. The first person (Crystal) said no problem, was very nice and was just going to leave a note on our reservation. Return a couple hours later, room not ready. Then she was extremely put out and complained out loud to the help desk that I was being complicated with my two cards. After paying we went to check into the room and it was still soiled from the last occupants. Returned to get a new room and while we were waiting I read the receipt and she had charged my personal card for the first day and the company card for the last day, which had a higher rate. Mind you, it took 40 minutes to get the payment split in the first place and I was patient. I thought she was new and needed support. It was my fault I didn't verify that the note was on my reservation and the wrong days were charged to the wrong card. So she gets back on the phone with support and loudly complains that I didn't tell her what to do and it's my fault etc.. She is not even explaining thr issue correctly to tech and giving them the wrong cost/reservation information. When she gets off the phone 30 minutes later, she says there is nothing they can do to swap the vets after payment. (They literally just needed to refund and start over) Accuses me of "breathing in [her] face" and getting on her case amongst other things and gets extremely aggressive. I told her I wanted a refund and we'd be going somewhere else. She immediately prints the receipt and tries to dismiss me, but they still have our bags from earlier. I can't describe how patient I was all things considered but ultimately it was her behavior (and a parting guest comments about being relived to leave) that made us decide to find a different hotel. I mean wow. Really the worse experience. I don't know what's going on in her life but it doesn't excuse talking to someone the way she talked to me and my partner. Just unreal. I still haven't been able to confirm a refund and will need to go talk to the manager. UPDATE: THEY CHARGED ME AGAIN!!! I am still in Austin and had to go into speak to someone for now two erroneous charges on my company card.

Had two rooms here for 3 nights. Soon as we walked in the door the lady at the desk told us she couldn’t accommodate us and was really upset when I asked her for help on what to do. After about an hour of going back and forth she reluctantly gave us our rooms. They made no attempt to call us that day to tell us they couldn’t accommodate us. The hotel is dirty. Everywhere. The “free breakfast” they advertise is a coffee jug and a crunchy granola bar. The coffee is bad, really bad. Phone in my room never worked and the light in my bathroom was out the entire time. Showered in the dark everyday. Told the front desk each day and was gone at a conference all day and came back to nothing being fixed. For being an extended stay hotel there are 0 utensils, plates, pots or pans provided. One of the elevators works about 1/3 of the time. Nicest thing I can say is that the blackout curtains are superb. If the people that worked here cared at all, it could be a serviceable hotel, but they very clearly don’t.
