::A computer repair guy is usually a GEEK and not a skilled salesman that can charm the customer. Chris is blunt, but honest, so he does not mince words when to comes to telling you what is wrong with your computer. He might rub some people wrong with this approach, but I appreciate his honesty when examines your broken PC. The bottom line is the work, his work is excellent and very reasonable. I have owned several PCs in the past, went to various computer repair places in the DFW area. I only take my computer issues to Chris, who repairs them flawlessly. His work is great, he even built me a desktop PC for a very reasonable price. This beast will outperform PCs you can buy online or a retail store that costs hundreds of dollars more. If you need computer repair, Chris performs all repairs on site, not shipping them to a third party repair center. He has always come through for me and I go nowhere else for PC repair.

::I wish there were negative ten stars. The "owner" Chris acted like a real jerk. I suggested something different because I actually know about PC's and worked in IT for 24 years, in much higher positions than computer repair, as a Network Admin, and mostly as a Web Developer. So out of the blue this guy says "If you think you know more than me COME GET IT!" I said "close it up." I enter the store and he says "you know I'm right." So it was all about him "being right." I challenged him to show me the part that was "proprietary" and he just avoids the issue, trying to tell me that an IBM PC compatible machine can only use the exact power supply that came with it. I said "Why do you think they call it IBM COMPATIBLE and there are only about a thousand companies that sell replacement parts?? He claimed to have done diagnostics, I said okay I'd pay, I said I would. Then it's "cash only" no credit cards. I tell him where he can put the computer and leave. I intend to pursue this.

::Darn..I should have read this reviews before.I gave my laptop for repair almost 4 weeks ago.They told me it will be easy and only this much money....then they need a lot more money for parts and labor than they agreed to me previously.When I pointed out that that was not the agreed price they called police on me stating I am holding up their business.Also they take only cash.After I returned with cash the person told me I can not check the laptop in the store and he won`t give any guarantee that it works.If I have any problem with that I can file claim with small claims tribunal...Too much hassle and I don`t have time for that.So I ended up not getting my laptop.It is still in their store.He told me he will sell it.Hopefully they will erase data before that.I think that is the plan from the beginning for them..Avoid these people..Save your time and money...

::I had a horrible experience. I wouldn't purchase anything from them. Most of the parts aren't in static bags. The guy spent 15 minutes insulting macs. I wanted a part not a lecture. Wouldn't recommend this shop.
