  Absolutely horrible service, deceitful, and bizarre: I tried to have two area rugs cleaned here. I was charged $75 dollars per rug (kilim rugs smaller than 3*5). When I received the rugs back after 3 weeks, they were filthy: more dust on them then when I dropped them off, strands of hair, a piece of pecan. They also had a musty smell. The rugs were obviously not washed. I brought them back pointing out the issues and asked for a partial refund. The owner refused a refund and instead begrudgingly said they would send out to be washed again. After waiting another month, the rugs returned to me in even worse condition (literally a hair ball on the edge as I opened the paper they were wrapped in, rug as if it had been left in a sandbox). The owner, seeing they were truly not washed, issued a partial refund after much negotiation. However, I still outlaid almost $100 and endured significant headache (no rugs for months, lugging them back and forth multiple times) to receive rugs back in a dirtier form than when In dropped them. I really do not know what is going on here. I advise people to avoid this establishment. Perhaps it was error/deceit by the outsourced rug cleaner, but the customer service surrounding this event was absolutely horrible. I am very puzzled by the other positive reviews.

  Excellent service. Unlike many places in NYC, this place doesn't break shirt buttons.
