  John Petrizzo has rocks for brains and im being generous. he persuaded me to do an exercise i didnt want to do, and im still injured. he is a know it all meat head bully, and touts ridiculous research that he takes out of context and that he misinterprets. he is dumb enough to be a power lifter with his own body, dont let him ruin yours. i bounced the exercise he had me do with the amount of weight with a few different physical therapists, and they all said he is an absolute moron who committed malpractice. has a sweet demeanor, but has horrendous judgement. dont trust him with you're body for gods sake. how they allow him to teach is just plain frightening.

  This is a very special place. I have had the good fortune to work with the very best physical therapists after multiple spinal surgeries. I continue to use their gym facilities, because the staff cares, that's the prescription for recovery. Thank you!

  John Petrizzo is by far the best physical therapist I have worked with. I had PT twice before and did thorough research before choosing John. His approach is making me feel confident that I can get back to the physically demanding labor of Reinforcing Ironwork .

  Excel is the best gym in Manhasset. I was living in another town for a couple of years but now I'm back and working out. It's got all the equipment yet it feels like a boutique gym. The owners & staff are highly experienced Physical Therapists. You can also expect to reach the highest level of training in everything from triathletics to power lifting. It's all here.

  I've been working with co-owners Sharon & Peter Levy for a few years now, and can say that Excel is a top notch spot for working out, competition training, or rehabilitative therapy. The rest of the trainers and staff are extremely friendly, and the equipment and facilities are modern and clean. From walking in, you can sense a clear camaraderie between the staff here - they seem genuinely happy to be here, train themselves, and train others. Sharon and Peter are both athletes, and I've often exchanged tips and ideas with Sharon outside of Excel.
