::This was a fantastic dining experience. Our hostess/waitress, Mesha, was very friendly and attentive. She worked all the tables in the dining room, including ours, singlehandedly. She was a real Wonder Woman. The food was delicious, of great quality, and great presentation. The drinks (non alcoholic and alcoholic) were very tasty, strong, and refreshing. The ambience of the restaurant is warm, friendly, and welcoming. If you choose to dine at this restaurant, you wont be disappointed.

::What a great place! Delicious food and great prices. Best Grilled Blackened Catfish I've ever had in my life! Everything was excellent and wonderful service. Something for everyone on the menu. Don't miss eating here...I will be back soon!

::Had a wonderful blackened catfish and grits meal. The server was really good and I'd highly recommend this place. Great combo of tastes, and ya gotta support local restaurants even though I'm from Minnesota.

::Evelyn and Olive's was a delightful little find near the Victorian Village area. I tried it after my eldest daughter had recommended it to me. I took my cousin with me so we could try 2 different things from the menu. I had heard that the Oxtails were good so that's what I ordered, but they'd just sold the last order. The special of the day was curried goat. I tried it and it was off the chain! I could tell by the flavors of the dish that it had been cooked by someone who knew what they were doing. I had my first taste of some plaintains, which were surprisingly good. They tasted like baked apples even though they look like bananas. My cousin had the fried catfish. He said it was very good, especially with the sauce that came with it. Our first-time eating experience was wonderful!!! The wait staff is great and the ambiance is friendly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the parking. It needs a lot of improvement plus security.
