::Made one of the worst days of my life even worse. Ned Curry needs to retire. When my 46-year old husband died, all I wanted was a cremation; not a funeral, not a casket, not a fancy urn, not memorial candles or cards, not any of the upselling garbage Ned was trying to hawk. He asked questions in a way that made me extremely uncomfortable and upset, as well as upsetting my friend the Reverend, my mother, my sister, and my sister-in-law. Ned reeled at how he'd have to "get extra guys to help" handle my husband's 300lb body and went into morbid detail about what kind of cardboard container they'd have to reinforce to hold my husband. He went on and on about how I was "lucky this isn't Texas because you'd have to embalm the body before cremation." I did NOT need any of this. I asked very specific questions and was treated like a child, with no specific answers given. As a brand-new widow, being treated like a child and charged nearly five thousand dollars to be treated like a child is mind-blowing, disgraceful, and an abomination. I get it, Ned, you're tired and are used to pushing people around who are grief-ridden. What you did was disgusting.
