  I hired ENIFCO painters (ENIFCO is a dba of MEHER inc) from North Caldwell NJ to do a very simple job strip the old paint of 3 doors and paint them. The owner met with me and my wife he sounded like he know what he was doing, and agreed to the job so we hired and paid him. He subcontracted the job and the worker job left a lot to be desired, as a matter of fact the job was only supposed to take a few days they took 2 weeks, even after taking 2 of the doors with them to finish in their shop. The job to be done well needed one more coat of paint. I texted the owner “Paul” and he refused to answer my texts, just send me a curt text telling me that the job is done. I sent him pictures of the job halfway done but he refused to answer. Moreover they did not put the hardware in place and left it hanging off the door. Note, when we originally hired them we talked about changing the door hardware with new hardware, and replacing the window. He of course did not do it telling me that “they are not on the window business” even though he quoted me replacing a glass panel for another door that I was thinking on changing as well (good think that I keep texts and records of conversations). Ultimately, as I review my texts the owner was super responsive to the communication when he wanted the job, but communicated poorly after he got paid. Not only that but by not answering my repeated texts, he did not address the problems with the Job halfway done. I do not recommend this company. And I have worked with many contractors hired from Home Advisor. If you do decide to hire them I recommend not to pay them till they finish the job to your liking.

  Paul has almost painted every room in my house now. He is quick to respond, flexible on when to start, professional and courteous. His painters are thorough and the job is always performed as asked. And the quality is exceptional. I have no idea why anyone would give Enfico and Paul anything less than five stars. I would recommend him to anyone and have several times. Thanks for all the great work.

  It is my pleasure to highly recommend the exterior and interior painting and repair services of Enifco, which came highly recommended by our longtime neighbors who have used the company for many projects throughout the years. I was happy to hear back quickly from its owner, Paul Selhi. During his initial and subsequent visits, he provided excellent recommendations about the extensive work that we needed to have done this summer, which included: • Exterior repair of the front walkway, stone stoop, window boxes, door sash and balcony railings; • Exterior painting of our front door, railings, a portion of the side of house, and the garage; • Installation of a banister in the basement; • Repair of the upstairs bathroom, including installation of a marble sill and regrouting; • Interior painting of most rooms and the basement, including some ceilings, sheet rocking, and wall repairs All of the above-referenced work was done a timely manner. I continued to add work to the “to do” list, which Paul readily accommodated. I trusted Paul and his able crew, including Wilson, a supervisor, to do the interior work while we were away on a two-week vacation. Upon returning, it was like moving into a beautiful, “like new” house! Paul is a true and seasoned professional, and I found him to be engaging and decent from start to finish.
