::This place is a joke!! I have never seen a college operated like this one. This location gives empire a bad name. Please don’t waste your time here people do the research. Most of the reviews on this location is negative so they can’t say it just one mad student I anti no student and never have been a student but have had family to attend this location and withdrew after day 2. I have also have family to attend another location in Greensboro NC and had a great experience. So it not all empire it just this location they don’t care about you education the only see a dollar. Now I know why they only have about 10 student this location. Please be caution when dealing with the Aurora Location on Mississippi.

::first time ever to go here and my last. get a trim not a haircut, brow. and lip wax, just a few minutes ago. Was told they do not do waxes during the day, and I wanted a trim I would have to come back at 12:45, I was there at 11:45. I can see why they get such negative posts

::I honestly don't know where to start.... I was a student her in 2014, briefly. Very briefly. I was super excited to start because of what I could learn and the lady that helped me register was absolutely fantastic. However, things went downhill very quickly. I was working full time, and I didn't get off of work until 5:30. School started at 5:45 and I didn't have my own car until about a month into school, so I was forced to beg Coworkers for rides. I worked about 15 mins away from the school, at a call center, so it was a miracle if I got off work on time as it was. I explained this to the woman who helped me register and she said that was fine!! The teacher was another story....every day when I walked in late she gave me an incredibly dirty look and treated me like I didn't value my education when I was doing the best I could. The teacher was also incredibly racist, and always picked favorites. If you weren't her favorite, you could basically go jump off a bridge. I was not a favorite, and neither was another student, who was actually one of the best in the class, and she took every opportunity to criticize myself and the other girl any chance she got. She would bring severely negative attention to me whenever I didn't understand something (which was actually quite often, because the teacher would start the demonstrations before I got there and just expected me to catch up). She would also make very pointed comments about how some people just aren't "destined" for this field, while staring right at me. The "favorites" in the class joined in on her games. At one point, I spoke to the teacher, alone, and burst into tears. I explained to her that I was ridiculously panicked because I was trying to work full time, and I was falling behind in class because I didn't understand certain things, I had only been to a nail salon once ever in my life. She claimed to understand, but she acted the same the very next day. I ended up dropping out, telling the school that I was just very busy moving, that I would be back in a few months, but in all honesty, the treatment from the other students and especially the teacher set my anxiety into such and overdrive that it was becoming detrimental to my health to be there.
