::Train ran late due to a medical emergency at another station. Had a super nice, friendly Grandpa type take control and provide a very clear and detailed explanation of how they will handle it. I wish airlines were this good!

::My favorite Bay Area Amtrak station! Because the free Emery-Go-Round bus takes you to McArthur BART, and from there you can go anywhere. ACTransit runs in Alameda County, and CCT runs in Contra Costa County (places like Orinda, Lafayette, Walnut Creek). I always feel safe here. Snacks and real people selling tickets. Medicare card holders get a discount.
