  Chips and salsa were good. Quesadilla app was extremely greasy. Mole was a little heavy handed on the star anise. Steak molajete flavor was nice but steak was overdone. Service was amateur. In the end, for the price it was not good. You can get way better Mexican food for so much less at many restaurants in Tucson.

  Highly recommend the Mole griped prickly pear served in the huge lava bowl, still bubbly it is so hot during the entire meal. Delicious salsa . I recommend sharing the Mole for 2 people it is $26 add $4.00 if sharing more than enough food for 2 awesome street views of 6th and Congress. The decor is amazing!

  Elvira's is awesome. The food is orgasmic, the cocktails are one of a kind. You will never be disappointed here.

  The hostess was rude, everything was over priced for what it was, and the food wasn't even good! I'm not picky about food but this was so odd to me. It's like they picked some Mexican items, switched it up a bit to make it different, gave it a fancy name and over priced it. The only thing I liked was the design of the place, very different and unique. I feel horrible about posting this but wow it was so bad, I just can't help it! Sorry!

  Perfectly acceptable; the food was well-presented but a little under seasoned. Still, props for the efforts and the outstanding guacamole. The decor is particularly striking at night and the service was friendly. My margarita was very good as well.
