  Tasty food, nice decor and turn-around time from ordering. Unsure about how to rate the service. We would have to find there a couple more times in order to decide on q quality of service.

  First, let me be clear - The drinks were AAAAHMMAZING! The food was great and our waitress was fantastic. Let me give you some background information. My friend was back in DC for training. He now lives in Guatemala but before he moved, he actually worked for the economic development office that helped this place get a loan to grow! And I work down the street and I always commit to cater from local businesses and have catered from Rito Loco several times. This was explained to the owner before we were asked if we can leave our table so that other customers can sit and eat.... Which is why I gave them two stars! Note, no hostess, mainly a bar with seating. So if you want to sit, get there early (per other reviews)! So, we were asked to leave by the owner. My drink was still full, my friends' drinks were half full and the owner asked us if it were "OK" if we got up and allowed this other group of girls to sit and eat. 1. Why weren't other customers asked? When we agreed and we walked out, we noticed other tables with empty drinks just lounging. Our drinks weren't even empty. 2. We were definitely hoping to have another round of drinks. We most likely would have spent more that these young girls who wanted to sit and eat. (Also, get there early)!!! 3. The waitress had no clue what was happening. She came around to see if we wanted another round of drinks. We politely declined and said, we know when we weren't wanted. She was like, "no..you definitely can stay" and we told her the owner asked us to leave so "they" can sit and eat. She apologized and we told her it definitely wasn't her fault. I still gave her a great tip because she was great! 4. You just lost three influential customers. I have NEVER experience this!!! I hope it was worth it. BTW-Thanks for giving us 5 minutes to finish our drinks!!!

  Love this place for the ambiance, food and margs! Though I will say that even as a spicy drink lover - their spicy margs are INTENSE! So you’ve been warned. 😁 Their service - from the owner who checks in on everyone regularly, to the bartenders, bouncer and waitstaff - is really good and personable as well, even when they’re slammed with people.

  I really don’t want to write this review because I want this spot all to myself 😂 Cozy rooftop bar with warm, rustic wood motifs and a beautiful ceiling covered in hanging flowers. The basic margarita is delicious and abundant, tacos were great (rib and chicken were my favorites) and they have a really good and mild salsa verde that comes with it. Also, surprisingly warm for a rooftop bar in the middle of winter.

  Beautiful rooftop nestled in the heart of Shaw District in DC. Will definitely be back for more! My fave was the fried chicken with churros & the lime simple syrup... you'll want to drink the syrup from a glass ;-) The Mexican hot chocolate was to die for too!!!! Drinks & tacos were awesome too!
