::I have been coming here since I first heard of it over 15 years ago. El Compadre is a one-of-a-kind. The vibe, the music, the staff, the food. Everything about your experience here is 5 Stars. One of LA's finest.

::Been to El Compadre a few times. I always enjoy my visits. It is one of those classic, dimly lit Mexican restaurants. The atmosphere is great and so are the margaritas. I haven't eaten the food much but what I did have was good. Great place for post Dodger game, easy walking distance from the stadium. The parking on game day is impossible. What I recommend is parking down at Union Station, take the free Dodger bus up to the stadium. Post-game, walk down to El Compadre. They are open until 2 AM I believe. After, take a taxi or Lyft back to Union Station. Easy. Make sure you try the Flaming Margarita as least once.

::Best service and great food! Been a while since I’ve had both in one place! Definitely going back! Thanks Louie!

::Fun! Went with friends and enjoyed our evening. Delicious bowls of endless chips and salsa. One of us had the flaming margarita. She loved it. All the food was yummy, but my favorite part was the live mariachi band playing throughout dinner.

::Good margaritas and music. Food is a bit heavy and service is slow. The prices are also very high for Mexican cuisine. But overall, nice staff and yummy margaritas! The chips and salsa are delicious!
