::I was SO excited to go to the museum when I first moved to Indy. I have to admit, I was pretty bummed when I went inside. I guess I was just expecting more.... The museum was nice but it’s mostly paintings - I was hoping to learn so much culture but that wasn’t the case. Plus side to the day I went, many native vendors where there selling crafts. I purchased a sweet peace pipe that’s sculpted as a bear. It’s the coolest!! The best part of that day was talking to all the native vendors.

::Took my grandson to see the train exhibit Jingle Rails and it was phenomenal. We actually went through twice. There was a game that was set up where you had to find items. It kept my grandsons attention, and we had a great time.

::I thought the Eiteljorg was a nice surprise of a museum. It was a great taste of Western and Native American art. And I appreciated that it was a manageable size, but still with nice variety. The overall building and artifacts were great, but some of the graphics could use some updates. Great choice for an afternoon.

::Hermoso museo donde se muestra el arte, cultura e historia de los indios de Norteamérica, auténticos dueños de este territorio. Volvería a este museo cientos de veces.
