  This hotel is now closed and bought by Marriot Vacation Club ! .so its over.... History: we went there when it was Edgewater in 2013 with a poor experience... we had the dark Room 'Real Angry Birds' with a balcony between two buildings and a lot of birds rejections... No one came to clean the balcony even after I asked to during a whole week. The hotel did not take care of my room preference reservation (balcony East) and did not purpose to me a better room. Hotel is in a elegant art deco building in a amazing South Beach Ocean Drive location. Related to Quality Service the room price was overpriced. But maybe with Marriot this room will be lifted up...

  In the middle of everything, without the noise. Across the street from the beach and the park. Family friendly. Very nice happy hour, great staff, and complimentary breakfast was decent. Room was large with a pullout couch and kitchenette.

  Never staying here again. Amenities are a joke. Breakfast was crap. Mini bar in room was over priced. No TV in bedroom, of course that didnt matter because the cable kept going out. Pull out bed was flat and had no pillows or blankets. For what I ended up paying I would have rather stayed at a Days Inn away from the beach and got a super nice suite with a jacuzzi. The only positive thing about staying here was its on the beach. And let's face it. If a hurricane came and took the hotel out, it'd probably be doing us all a favor.

  Nice, modern and clean rooms. But they charge $35 a day for parking which is too much considering you are already paying to stay there. Our "ocean view" room was more of a tree view room. They're breakfast is very simple....muffins, croissants, cereal, yogurt and juice. Check out is at 11am, my husband and I asked if we could check out at 11:30am and they refused us which was a huge inconvenience.

  Excellent hotel, excellent location, and excellent staff. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They provide towels and chairs for the beach which is just across the street. Rooms are very modern and clean. Has a partial kitchen, great bathroom. Complementary happy hour with Heineken, Stella Artois, Wine, snacks between 6 and 7pm. Breakfast is included, simple but nice that it's included. Definitely recommend this place.
